Multi-physics modelling of the ThorCon Molten Salt Reactors

MMP is supporting the design of the ThorCon Molten Salt Reactor via detailed multi-physics analysis of its reactor core. The analyses aim at an accurate coupled prediction of of flow fields, heat transfer, neutron and gamma transport, heat radiation and thermal deformations in the core of the reactor, and are based on cutting edge methodologies for the coupling of Monte Carlo and finite volume methodologies.
